This Weeks Prayer

This week as you draw closer to the Lord pray that He will burn His Truth into your heart so that you will be able to discern any imposter preaching a false gospel about a false Christ. Pray for revival at home and abroad so that the fire of the Holy Spirit would burn out dross and all impurities from our lives and create a burning desire to see people saved, healed, delivered from bondage and free to worship God in spirit and truth. When you pray for our nation, remember Israel and ask God to give us wisdom regarding our dealings with other countries. Continue to pray for discernment when voting in the upcoming elections. John 4:23; 2 Cor. 11:3-4; Gal. 5

SPRING FORTH

Spring is here, life is popping up everywhere, flowers that we forgot we had are springing forth with beauty. The showers and the sun have been just what was needed to bring them forth. God has sent His Word and His Spirit and it has brought forth the beauty that He desires to bring out in each of us. O that we might show forth His glory to this world that they may see His good works in us and come and glorify Him with their lives. Taste and see that God is GOOD.

This Weeks Prayer

The thought that God likes my company thrills me more than I can explain to you. And if He likes my company, He likes yours too—He is no respecter of persons (see Acts 10:34; 1 Pet. 1:17). The same blood that purchased Peter's and Paul's salvation bought yours and mine. Moreover, it is the blood that gives all of us equal access into God's presence (see Heb. 10:19). Therefore, I can put out of my mind the thought that some people are more acceptable to God than others. One's profile in church has nothing to do with being accepted by Him—or loved or enjoyed. We are all on level ground. No one is at the head of the line just because she has a higher profile in the church, has been a Christian a longer time, has been on a 40-day fast, or has fame in the world. Being a head of state gives you no leverage. As St. Augustine put it, "God loves every person as if there were no one else to love."

This Weeks Prayer

This week thank the Lord for His unconditional love for you and take time to tell Him how much He means to you. Sit quietly before Him and listen for His still small voice to commune with you. As you share your heart with Him pray for those He brings to mind Show Him the extent of your love by your obedience. Continue to pray that revival would sweep the nation and spread around the world. Thank God for His continued protection over our nation and pray for those who are suffering through loss of jobs, homes and loved ones. Remember Israel and pray that our leaders would make righteous decisions concerning the fate of our country. John 15:15

This Weeks Prayer

This week thank the Lord that His blood brings you into a place of unmerited favor. Pray for faith to stand on His promises and believe that He is really on your side. Ask Him to direct your steps according to His Word and to increase your discernment so that you can see clearly what He has in store for you. Remember the persecuted church, our military and their families, those who have suffered loss of jobs, homes, families and health in these difficult economic times. Continue to pray that He send more workers into His harvest fields, for the peace of Jerusalem and for an outpouring of His Spirit without measure. Rom. 8:31; Gen. 37-50

This Weeks Prayer

As Easter approaches and people celebrate both the secular and religious aspects of the season ask the Lord to make you a carrier of His presence and beauty. Thank Him for directing your steps this week and expect divine encounters where you can let your "light" shine. Pray for military families who are apart from their loved ones. Continue to pray for the protection of Israel so that God's plan and purpose would be fulfilled. Pray for revival to ignite America and for the spread of His kingdom around the world. Remember those persecuted for His sake and pray for more laborers for the harvest fields. Matt. 5:16; Psalm 27:4; Isaiah 61:3.

This Weeks Prayer

This week confess the areas where you want to take matters in your own hands and be in charge. Repent of doing so and acknowledge His Lordship in your life. Place all your aspirations, goals, fears and worries into His hands. Make your requests known to Him, trust that He'll work everything toward your good, and thank Him for His answers. Remember all who labor for the kingdom and pray for those persecuted for His sake. Continue to pray for Israel and for our own nation to seek God's wisdom and direction in dealing with the issues it faces. Pray that God will visit the nation's capitol and move it toward repentance and the establishment of righteousness. 1 Peter 5:7; Prov. 3:5-6; Psalm 18
